Malkovich! Malkovich! If it weren't for John Malkovich's great acting for the character Buck Howard, this movie would have been practically unwatchable. The writing is pretty weak and direction is minimalistic, though the latter is fine by me. Really, the whole story seen by the assistant/road manager did not work at all. No, I have nothing against Colin "Tom's son" Hanks either. This is too bad because there were many cameos, some are pretty decent but in the end all wasted.
